Knowledge and authority
Why self awareness can be present while a well rehearsed response still takes authority.
Free live masterclass
Why does a capable woman keep choosing the same cage, even when she knows better?
Have you ever wondered why you can know so much about yourself and still find it difficult to create a different response when the real moment arrives? This masterclass examines the hidden moment when inner authority changes hands.
The gap between knowing and choosing
The boundary must be spoken, the decision must be made or somebody reacts badly, and the familiar response is already in motion.
Human behaviour is shaped by more than conscious knowledge. A pattern is a rehearsed organisation of attention, emotional charge, meaning, expectation, protective behaviour and energy. The brain predicts from previous experience and reaches quickly for what has become familiar, especially when safety, belonging or identity feels involved.
This is where so much vital energy disappears. It is spent scanning for reactions, rehearsing conversations, managing other people’s emotions, repeating an old story and postponing the action that would move life forward.
I call the earlier moment The Choice Before the Choice: the point at which an old protective strategy begins organising the decision before your conscious mind produces a reasonable explanation for it. Depatterning begins when awareness catches this sequence live, before attention and repetition give the old response another round of energy.
What we will examine
Why self awareness can be present while a well rehearsed response still takes authority.
How a trigger touches an old charge, the mind attaches a familiar story and attention feeds the response.
How to recognise the live moment awareness comes online and sees the old architecture organising the choice.
How to interrupt the sequence without suppressing emotion or fighting the protective part, and retrieve the original signal.
Human behaviour, depatterning and energy
This work brings together neuroscience, human behaviour, learned patterning, nervous system protection, embodied experience, the movement of attention and energy, and qualitative material contributed by more than one hundred women to Beata’s book research.
The purpose is to understand the gap between knowing and choosing without reducing a human being to a habit, a diagnosis or one simplified explanation about the brain.
What did I know before I began negotiating with what I knew?
About Beata
Beata is the founder of Cosmic Business Woman, a facilitator, researcher and author of the forthcoming book The Woman Who Remembered Herself.
Her work explores why intelligent, spiritually aware women can understand themselves deeply while continuing to make decisions through old protective structures. She works at the meeting point of embodied experience, behaviour, inner authority and the deeper mystery of what it means to remember oneself inside a human life.
